Litigation Experience
Mr. Weisbart has provided clients with his experience in the areas of business litigation, labor and employment and aviation law since 1986. Mr. Weisbart has tried numerous jury and non-jury trials in cases involving contract, partnership, real estate, landlord/tenant, environmental, fiduciary duty and malpractice, oil and gas, deceptive trade practices, employment, insurance, sexual torts, and administrative issues. A large focus of Mr. Weisbart’s business trial practice has been representing businesses and individuals as plaintiffs in litigation. Mr. Weisbart has also successfully handled appeals in the Texas Supreme Court, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Texas State Court of Appeals.
Aviation Law Experience
Mr. Weisbart has handled multiple aviation matters that have included litigation and disputes over aircraft maintenance issues, training issues, damage to aircraft, aircraft insurance issues, aging aircraft issues, suits against aircraft manufacturers and litigation dealing with the purchase and sale of large and small aircraft. Mr. Weisbart also has represented small Part 121 airlines and Part 135 operators with regard to litigation matters and F.A.A. compliance issues. With his background as a former Part 135 charter pilot and Gold Star Flight instructor, Mr. Weisbart has been able to blend his real world experiences with his talent as a business litigator and trial lawyer to provide serious guidance and resolution to aviation problems affecting aircraft owners, operators and pilots of all nature.

Professional Memberships / Affiliations
Mr. Weisbart is active in the Austin Bar Association and was named Outstanding Committee Chair for the Endangered Jury Trial Committee for 2005-2006. He also has been the vice chairman of the Travis County Litigation Section and served as a director and chairman of the Travis County Employment Law Section. He was also was active in Austin Young Lawyers Association, serving on the AYLA Board of Directors (1991-1992) and as Co-Chairman of the Travis County Bench/Bar Conference (1993). He has served as prosecutor for the Unauthorized Practice of Law Sub-Committee for Travis County. Mr. Weisbart was also designated as a master and member of the American Inns of Court. Mr. Weisbart is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Austin Bar Association, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals Bar Association, the NTSB Bar Association and the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association.
